Oh my gosh, you guys! I can't even tell you how excited I am about this new feature on the website. Now, I need to clarify that I am not an official fashion blogger. But, it's no secret that I love all things fashion! Clothes, bags, shoes, accessories. I also have a love for makeup and skin care too! So, I decided to add this tab here so I could share all of my favorite things with you guys! Because that's what friends do: we share the goods. As y'all know, I'm a curvy girl, and sometimes it's hard to find super cute things for us curvier girls. I'm thrilled to share some of my finds with you! And, of course, I'll post regular size options, too. For our first post, I thought it would be best to start simple. But that doesn't mean that it isn't AWESOME! Let's start with this ah-mazing top that I scored from Nordstrom. It's navy blue with specks of pink and green, and I know it doesn't sound as amazing as it is! It's super flattering with the layered looks, and I am pretty obsessed with the spaghetti strap on my left shoulder. I get a lot of compliments on it, and the best part is that it's so comfortable! I can't recommend it enough.

And here is a regular sized option that's similar:
I have to share these flip flops with you guys. Now, I admit these are pricey for flip flops, but they are the BOMB. I wear them almost every day. I wore them EVERY day during our honeymoon. I love them so much, that I've tried to buy them in every color, but, unfortunately, they're sold out. There are still some smaller sizes left, and I've noticed that they add more inventory once in a while, so I just stalk Nordstrom all of the time. In fact, when I went over to grab you a link, I just found out that they have more RIGHT NOW! Grab them, friends. You won't regret it!
Sidebar: I admit I just bought the blush ones because they're in stock! And then I did a happy dance.
One thing to note with Valentino (and most European shoes), they run a smidge small. So, although I'm a size 8 in the US, I bought a size 9 (39 in Europe shoe language) and they fit like a dream.
Because they ARE pretty pricey for flip flops, I found some less expensive ones that are also super cute!
These are so cute too:
Okay. Moving on from shoes. I know, it's hard.
First, I have a confession. I've never been good at taking care of my skin. I was blessed with great derma-genetics (totally made that up) so for most of my life, I rarely had blemishes, and aside from some redness, healthy skin.
And then I hit forty-something, and now I have age spots, and weird redness. It seems like it happened overnight! And I might have panicked.
My friend, Julie, sells Rodan + Fields, and I decided to give it a try. I admit, the regimens aren't cheap, friends. They're just not.
But I like the Soothe, the one I've tried, so much. I don't mind the smell at all, and my skin feels healthy and hydrated. I can feel a difference!
Now, Julie recommends I use it twice a day, but remember that confession above about not having a regular skin care regimen in my whole life? Well, that means that if I remember to use it once a day, I consider that a win. And at close to a month in, I'm definitely feeling a difference!
Here is Julie's website for more info:
She's super sweet and knowledgable about the product, so if you have any questions, just shoot them her way!
Well, that's it for today. I hope this was fun for you! Feel free to comment and let me know what you think, and if there are other topics you'd like me to talk about in my closet. ;)
